UQD: Extra Observation

The Myvi was exposed to rain almost everyday ever since the last wash on 5th August. The incredible water beading on the paintwork had made me worried that the paintwork might be stained with water marks (heavy dirt film), which was the result of what Fusso Coat gave me.

I wouldn't say my judgement is 100% correct, but I did not find the existance of water marks after giving it a quick wash. The water was still beading very nicely after rinsing the shampoo away.

On the other hand, I can't claim that UQD will protect the paintwork as I need a lab to prove the result. All I know is it makes washing easier and it effectively prevents dirt from sticking onto the paintwork. More beneficial to the door panels.

UQD: Result

Two weeks ago I applied the UQD onto the Myvi before it was sent to the Perodua service center for rectification. Till today, it hasn't received any wash yet except it's being exposed to the rain almost daily. The UQD was applied onto the Iswara as well, last week.

This morning before I went to work, I took some photos of both paintwork with water beading on it due to last night's rain. I would say UQD's durability is awesome. The less than 10-minute effort is worth for such result.

If you're crazy after cupcakes, definitely you need to know cupcake Chic. Joanne Ho, the owner of this company is very talented in this area. Should you have any events (especially weddings) which requires custom-made cupcakes, she's definitely the one for you to look up. I've taken a few shots of the newly designed cupcake box, which holds 4 little cute cupcakes in it. This one is specially made for a baby boy!

the apartment

It's a nice cozy restaurant, newly opened at The Curve. Though the food is tasty, but the price is abit steep. I proceeded with a Roti Telur after I left 'the apartment'. :D

UQD: Application

Before sending the Myvi to Perodua for the 5th time to troubleshoot the engine oil leakage issue, I gave it a quick wash. After that, I pulled out my new bottle of Ultimate Quick Detailer (UQD) for application. I timed myself and the result was 7 minutes 50 seconds to complete the whole of Myvi. So I believe doing a larger car within 10 minutes should be possible, as claimed on the bottle.

Basically it involves just two steps: mist and wipe. Make sure you do it section by section. I can't comment on the durability yet as the Myvi will be left in the workshop for many days. It's because of that, Perodua loaned me a silver Myvi for the time being.

Once the Myvi is back, I'll feedback to you all about the beading issue. But don't expect miracle result as this is a mist & wipe product. But for the least amount of effort for such result, I think it's definitely worth. Do it weekly right after your car wash, it shall do good for most busy people.

A Trip to the North

Spent the whole of last week at 3 states: Penang, Kedah and Perak. Covering over 1500km of driving which was quite tiring but fun and adventurous. Here are the food photos captured on the Penang island.



And now I'm back to the busy KL life. :)
