what's the diff between 270A and 270AE?

The difference is, GEX-270AE has variable speed control so you can work on the paint safely without overheating. The fixed speed of GEX-270A, if I'm not wrong, is 15,000opm, which is too fast for our car paintwork.

Wow...wow...don't fight don't fight. Hehe...The owner can't online during daytime, so I guess you all have to wait for him to reply your email. I guess now it depends on who the owner wants to sell to. Anyway, I'll ask around anyone who wants to let go his used unit.

to weijack@pl.jaring.my:
Dude, no need to get so defensive. I don't think there's anything wrong with me saying I want it right? Its the seller's perrogative to sell this item to whomsoever he wants to, correct? Anyhow, if you do indeed get it, my sincere congrats to you for obtaining an excellent item! I hope it will bring you much joy in your detailing endeavours.

To the seller:
Boss, I am willing to pay your price of RM280. IF my request is considered, I can be reached at flavr_savr@yahoo.com Thank you and have a nice day!

jack ma' brotherr.... No offense meant by me and no offense taken! Sorry too about my message if it offended you in any way ok?

Yeah man... Detailing is a big headache la! but heck, when its done right and you see the "after" results, you'll feel a sort of inner peace and a sense of achievement la! :)

If you're new at this, I got one piece of advice for you; listen to Sifu Zey and seek enlightenment from him! Hahahaha! Seriously man, Zey is amazing! He will probably come here and say "Eh no la! I am not so pro!" but don't believe him! Zey is amazing at detailing!!!

Me? Welllll... I'm from KL... Actually, if by any chance you have a Vios, come to www.viosclub.com Come there and look for me. Even if you don't have a Vios, come there! :)

Nice meeting you chief!

Regards, M. Tomato

To the seller:

Boss, COD at KLCC is no problem for me. Next week can or not? Because I will be busy for the rest of this week. Maybe Monday?

Also, I am actually second in line for this. I suggest you ask Jack first if he wants it, and if he doesn't, then I will take it.

Once again, I can be reached at flavr_savr@yahoo.com

I contact you next week la... I am in the middle of writing a thesis now. Should be done by Sunday. Then next week, I will be free to spend some time with my poor baby! I wanna detail her! She's been neglected! By the way, I AM speaking about my car okay? :P

Wow! Quite a big debate here when I'm away for just 2 days! Sorry guys, was away for vacation. ;)

Adui...I don't detail car to earn a living, so I'm not a pro. In other words, pro is one who is paid to do a job. My Makita is under utilized, but it's really a great tool. When it's used properly, very minimal holograms will only be left on the surface and not very noticeable on silver paintwork. This makes me put my ROB aside.

Mutant_Tomato, please send me an email to tell me your phone number. Hypercoat will contact you to arrange for Vios Club Detailing Clinic. Thanks! ;)

See? Told you Zey would bluff! Hahahah!!! Ok ok, so you're not paid to do detailing... So you're uhmm... A non-earning detailing pro... Or a pro among amateurs... Does that make sense ah? :))

no prob man... Will send you an email later today. Thanks a million for helping me out with Hypercoat.

One more thing... Bila lu mau join Vios Club? Got too many moronic questions being posted about detailing la! People asking if they can use hair shampoo to wash car la, Trojan la, Lux la, Dove la... Haiyor!!! :)

MTomato

Hi Bro,

Was wondering coz I just bought a Bosch GEX 270AE. Is it normal for the 270AE to spin slowly (What I mean is by just turning it on and observing the speed). The thing looks like it's vibrating and not spinning. When I put pressure on it, then it starts spinning a bit.

Sorry, I forgot to post my email. Chan_seng_hee@yahoo.com. Thanks

Blogger Zey said...

Hey Larry, yes, that's normal. When the machine senses resistance, it'll start spinning abit, else it will just vibrate. That's the difference between a ROB and a DA machine (G100/PC7424).
